Lotus Garden in Rust is a cotton tablecloth built around an all-over geometric repeat rather than a loose floral scatter. Terracotta, olive, and white circular motifs create a measured rhythm across the field, while the border introduces a more fluid paisley frieze in olive and aqua.
Hand block-printed in Jaipur with hand-carved wooden blocks, the cloth retains the slight variations that distinguish the process from a mechanically repeated print.
“I use a geometric cloth when the table already has movement from flowers or collected china. The repetition gives everything else a framework, and this rust colorway is especially good in late summer and autumn when the room can take a little more warmth.”
