A little over 2 hours south of Paris, this domaine occupies 22 hectares (54 acres) of the 2,700 hectares (6,700 acres) of the Sancerre appellation. Three generations of winemakers have elaborated medal-winning wines from this terroir.
The estate's Pouilly Fume is classic in every way. Steely, flinty, and rich and concentrated on the palate, this one is lean, crisp and focused. There is an excellent balance of chalky minerality, citrus, lemongrass, and orchard fruits. It’s a beautiful aperitif wine, but is also pairs well with a variety of seafood.
